Many times the problems we face have a lot to do with our thoughts and attitudes. For example, a negative, critical, suspicious or judgmental mindset can cause a person to mistreat others because they’re expecting them to be unfair, rude or disagreeable in some way.
The best thing we can do is study God’s Word to renew our minds so we think like He thinks. Romans 12!2 tells us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (NKJV).
Philippians 4:13, 2 Corinthians 12:9 and Romans 8:35-37. Personalize these verses and embrace them as God’s promises to you. Remember: God’s Word is absolutely true and His promises are for you!
Hey God it’s me again:
As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. I used to wonder about scripture because how can you think in your heart🤔. I thought you used your mind to calculate a matter. Then I can across the scripture the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. Oh there some more confusion, how your mouth got anything to do with your feelings😒. Wait “feelings”, “emotions” those actions with consequences. India Aire(spell check) has this song called it’s the heart of the matter. I remember long ago a manager to me you can put your feelings in everything as s business because you will go broke, use logic sometimes. Then someone said some people you love with your heart (feelings) others you have to love with your mind (logic). Your mind begins the process, your heart settles the debate (even if wrong), your mouth speaks what controls your decisions logic or feelings. Lord help me balance and deal with every situation and person with logic and reason. If they are not in agreement with my logic and reason or prove a better way I ask that you protect my heart and keep my feelings locked away so that my mouth will only speak Sound Wisdom. Hey God it’s me asking for Spiritual Wisdom and Understanding again. Keep me from harm and let me do no harm. My the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight oh Lord my redeemer. In the Mighty name of Jesus Christ by Holy Spirit Amen and Selah
