Forgiveness is challenging, very challenging when it does not work from both the person giving and receiving. Yet forgiving is required. I am learning how to forgive without permission so that I do not hinder my own blessings and growth. I am also learning how not to accept their unforgiveness by them choosing to re-live past errors whether they are true or not. Trying to get some one to address, deal with, forgive or be forgiven, and move forward is not a task for the faint at heart or those who hold on to things. Praying for wisdom to say what is needed so that healing may began in all circumstances. Life happens so differently for each of us even when we are looking through the exact same lense. We should always seek to understand the matter. Be quick to listen, slow to speak, eager to understand!!!
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
